french martini

absolut vodka // raspberry liquor // pineapple juice // lemon

I was never a massive fan of a straight up classic martini. I do however love all of the variations that can be made up around it - this has to be one of my favourite of those variations. The double spirits give it some strength and the fresh taste of lemon adds a little zing!

If you are using your box to make 12 cocktails, you'll need 25ml of vodka, about 12ml of raspberry liquor, 75ml of pineapple juice and an eight of a lemon. If you want to make 6 stronger cocktails, I would recommend upping to 50ml of vodka and a splash more of raspberry liquor. It's a taste preference, you're the creator, so just see how you go!

  1. Add 25ml of vodka to your jam jar.

  2. Add 12ml (half a shot) of raspberry liquor.

  3. Fill the jar with ice. You want this to be to the top of the jam, but so that you can also get the lid on.

  4. Add 75ml of pineapple juice.

  5. Squeeze in an eight of a lemon and discard the rest. Make sure you have taken the pips out.

  6. Put the lid on and give it a good shake!

  7. Add a wedge of lemon on the top, put a straw in and enjoy.
